The essentials before ordering
Café Allongé is served at 18 MAD at the Chill’in Corner, Instafood’s drinks counter on the 2nd floor of Al Mougar Mall, Souissi and Hay Riad, Rabat. The price shown here is the till price and the ordering-tunnel price: no channel markup, and every option shows its price before the basket is confirmed.
The drink is part of the counter’s eight coffees, from the Espresso at 16 MAD to the Cappuccino at 30 MAD: the coffee in Rabat page gives the full ladder to compare before choosing. Three ways to receive it: dine-in during service, takeaway after ordering online with live statuses, or delivery by the Instafood team in the same basket as the dishes. Service Monday to Friday, 11:30 am to 10 pm. A customer account opens the loyalty card: a reward on the 5th order, a full menu on the 10th.
The Café Allongé in detail: what you drink
A freshly pulled espresso, lengthened with hot water to gain softness and length. The coffee keeps its taste, loses its edge, and drinks over time instead of ending in two sips.
At 18 MAD, it adds two dirhams to the espresso for a format that lasts twice as long. It is the maths of the customer who settles in: a coffee that accompanies, not one that rushes.
Allongé or Americano: the real difference
Both cost 18 MAD and start from the same espresso. The Allongé is the espresso you lengthen with hot water; the Americano is the espresso poured over hot water. The results are close, the texture differs slightly: a little more roundness in the Allongé, a cleaner profile in the Americano.
If in doubt, take the Allongé for reading or working, the Americano if filter coffee is your reference point.
The right moment, the right pairing
This is the long-session coffee: set beside a laptop at Al Mougar Mall, it lasts a whole meeting. After a rich dish like the Cheesy Mactrufo at 59 MAD, its length cleans the palate better than a short shot.
